Ms Sunshine drops new single that will leave you feeling inspired!

Singer Ms Sunshine aka Achieng (which means ‘Girl Born when the Sun Is Shining’ in her native language of Dholuo) is not an upcoming artist as many may assume. She is a Kenyan artist based in Belgium where she has been recording and releasing her music.

The Kenyan singer also happens to be a songwriter and her latest project dubbed, “Riding Low Low” was released under Sunny Music Records, an independent music label.

The song has a warm upbeat style that will definitely leave zoned in the song since she drew her inspiration from the likes Lauryn Hill, Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone and Erykah Bad.

When asked to describe her latest song the lass had this to say,

“It is a message of endurance. Endurance and consistency are required in the pursuit of happiness. It is normally the road least traveled, so this song is a dedication to all who work with determination and excellence, the creators and innovators, a song of encouragement to surround yourself with positive family and friends.”

Anyway, she is also expected to release the song’s official music video on Labor Day, 2017 (see link to trailer below). “Riding Low Low” is produced by Phoniex.
